A sensorial journey at the foot of the volcano
Hello, wine and travel enthusiasts! Today I take you on a special adventure on the slopes of Etna, a place where the strength of the volcano blends with the art of viticulture to create exceptional wines.
Among the volcanic vineyards, where taste is born
Our exploration begins among the vineyards that embrace the volcano. Here, the Carricante and Catarratto grapes, typical of the area, grow lush in a unique soil. The minerality of the volcanic soil, combined with the heat of the Sicilian sun, gives these grapes unmistakable characteristics.
An afternoon in the cellar under the volcano
During my trip, I visited a family winery nestled in the volcanic hills. There, I discovered how the passion and dedication of the winemakers translates into wines of extraordinary quality. Tasting a glass of Etna Bianco, I felt the deep connection between the wine and its territory.
Volcanic flavors at the table
At a local inn, I had the pleasure of enjoying traditional Sicilian dishes, perfectly paired with Etna Bianco. Between fish starters, pasta alla norma and local cheeses, every bite was an explosion of flavours, elevated by the wine that accompanied the meal.
Between history and nature, a unique experience
Walking among the vineyards and ancient villages at the foot of Etna, I breathed in the history and culture of this land. Every corner tells a story, every stone speaks of the volcanic past and the life that comes from it.
I invite all of you, lovers of good wine and nature, to live this unique experience. The slopes of Etna are not just a place where grapes are grown, but a territory rich in stories, traditions and flavors just waiting to be discovered. A journey that remains in the heart, between the fire of the volcano and the freshness of its wines.
